KCAE accomplishes their mission through community and industry engagement to identify scholarship need for various aviation organizations and young aviation professionals.

Members and sponsors have helped us provide over $7,000 in funding this year alone to boost aviation education across the state!

Aviation Art Initiative

A partnership with Kansas Department of Transportation (KDOT) awards scholarships to the annual 1st, 2nd, and 3rd place winners of the NASAO Aviation Art Contest. Kansas students are awarded an aviation education bag and recognition by KCAE at the annual Kansas Aviation Day, held in early spring at the Kansas State Capitol building.

Kansas Aviation Education Initiative

KCAE members work to identify various Kansas aviation organizations that are involved in education efforts to provide financial, volunteer, and other support utilizing the membership network. We provide annual scholarship opportunities to support statewide aviation education.

Other Opportunities

Have an idea for something that needs championed? Tell us! We have supported a multitude of education events and efforts across the state to include Aviation Summer Camps, Women in Aviation events, UAS education seminars, and more!
